Jeffrey Merchan, Sports Editor
Jeffrey Merchan, a Peekskill native, is a 2022 graduate of Peekskill High School. He serves as the Collegiate Journalist at the Peekskill Herald, a role supported by a grant from the DJ McManus Foundation. As Sports Editor, Merchan covers athletics across the Peekskill and Hendrick Hudson school districts, collaborating closely with freelance contributors. In addition to his work with the Herald, he also freelances for Westchester Hispano and Yorktown News.
