Due to spring break, several teams did not compete this past week but will return to action beginning the week of April 6.
Baseball

On Monday, Apr. 6, Peekskill fell to Saunders, 8-2, at Torpy Field. Jayden Bradby got the start, pitching five innings while allowing two earned runs, striking out four, and issuing just one walk. At the plate, Bradby went 3-for-4 with three singles. Elijah Resendes finished 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Rocco D’Elia went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Now 0-2, Peekskill will look for its first win of the season on the road Wednesday, Apr. 8, against Woodlands at 4:30 p.m. The Red Devils return home to Peekskill Stadium on Friday, Apr. 10, to face Gorton at 5:30 p.m.
Softball

Peekskill softball improved to 2-1 on the season with an 8-7 road victory over Lincoln on Monday, Apr. 6. Mikayla Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base, and three runs scored, while also pitching four innings and recording five strikeouts.
Audrina Mendez finished 1-for-2 with a stolen base and one run scored. Daelyn Alarcon went 1-for-2, and Maria Alonzo added a 1-for-2 performance with a double and a run scored.
The Red Devils will next travel to Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, April 8, for a 4:30 p.m. game before returning home to host Mount Vernon on Friday, April 10, at 4:30 p.m.

Track and Field Peekskill will host a multi-team meet on Wednesday, Apr. 8, against Poughkeepsie, Croton, and Tuckahoe at 4:30 p.m.
Flag Football The Red Devils will travel to Poughkeepsie on Thursday, Apr. 9, at 4:45 p.m., and John Jay-Cross River on Friday, Apr. 10, at 4:30 p.m. Peekskill will continue on the road on Monday, Apr. 13, traveling to Somers at 4:30 p.m.
