To the editor:

The parklets that have been placed downtown must go.  In the first place, they are unsightly.  Second, they are not sanitary and last but not least, they deprive the City of revenue from parking meters.  Its difficult enough to find parking in Peekskill and these spaces take up valuable space for the benefit of a few restaurants.

I’m glad to see them removed.
