Evan Luis Solana Cardona, Media Producer
Evan is honored to bring his dedication to community support through visual storytelling to the Peekskill Herald and the Hudson Valley. With over a decade of experience as a filmmaker, photographer, and educator, his work centers on curiosity and collaboration. He specializes in supporting local businesses, nonprofits, and artists through documentary and editorial photography and film.
As a teaching artist, Evan fosters self-expression and technical skills in inclusive environments. His narrative cinematography, grounded in co-creation, has earned selections at numerous film festivals. Currently, Evan serves as the Media Production Manager at Parsons, where he develops curriculum and teaches filmmaking workshops. Evan holds an MA in Media Studies and Film Production. When not behind a lens, he enjoys hiking the Hudson Valley with his wife, experimenting in the kitchen, or playing D&D and board games with friends.
