The lights of the Paramount will shine on the performance of Darren Criss on May 30. The iconic Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, located in the heart of the city, will serve as the stage where the Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony Award winner shares some of the most celebrated highlights of his career in television, film, music and Broadway.

The concert, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., will feature songs that have accompanied different stages of his artistic journey, from the television phenomenon Glee to theatrical productions and original musical projects that continue to establish Criss as one of the most multifaceted performers of his generation.
However, the artist did not rise to prominence solely through Glee — the Fox series where several of his performances reached the Billboard charts. Before that, Criss had already built a strong following through A Very Potter Musical in 2009. That independent production showcased not only his acting and musical abilities, but also the stage creativity that has since defined his performances and that will now arrive before audiences in Peekskill.
Tickets for An Evening with Darren Criss are available through the Paramount’s website, ranging from $79 to $119. For approximately two hours, attendees will be able to enjoy the music of the star of the acclaimed Broadway musical Maybe Happy Ending, directed by Michael Arden and presented at the Belasco Theatre. His recent Tony Award as Best Leading Actor in a Musical for that performance continues to strengthen his career and bring him to stages across Delaware, California, New Jersey, Tennessee and North Carolina in the coming months.
Raised in San Francisco, the musician developed his artistic foundation by performing original renditions of popular songs in cafés and small local venues. Today, that connection with audiences continues to shape his stage presence through a blend of natural charisma, acting, composition and music production. For his Peekskill performance, the artist will deliver a show that promises to become both an intimate and theatrical experience.
In June, the Paramount’s schedule will continue with comedian Tig Notaro, who will arrive June 5 with her new show Out of Nowhere!. One week later, on June 12, contemporary swing and jazz band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will take the stage with its live performance. Later in the month, on June 20, the theater will host The Woodstock Experience – Back to the Garden 1969, a musical production inspired by the historic Woodstock festival and its cultural legacy.
Tickets for Darren Criss’ performance remain available through the theater’s digital platform. For more information regarding this and other events, the public may call 914-739-0039 or email [email protected].
