The Autumn edition of the MendByMe’s Free Pop-Up Shop will take place at the Peekskill Elks Lodge this Friday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The free pop-up shop offers a diverse range of gently used, cleaned goods, including clothing, shoes, toys, kitchen items, and much more for people in need. The pop-up shop is a place where one can find a variety of quality items at no cost, allowing everyone to shop with love and respect. Shoppers can explore the thoughtfully curated selection, designed to support the entire community.
MendByMe, is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 by Johanne Read. The organizations mission is simple and clear — to ensure that everyone who visits their Pop-Up Shop feels genuinely cared for and respected, regardless of their circumstances. The MendByMe signature red and white banner explains the mission and their tagline: kindness, compassion, humility.
