Polished car bodies, local businesses, and families seeking entertainment will join the spring festival scheduled for Sunday, April 26. The event, which has gained popularity in recent years, is organized by Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce. The day will take place in the parking lot of Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown, about 7 miles from downtown Peekskill.
Spring Festival & Car Show will offer entertainment for the entire family. The Chamber of Commerce shared the invitation through its digital platforms and emphasized the high expectations for this new edition of the event. Supporting local businesses will be one of the main focuses of the program, which will begin at 11 a.m. and last for at least five hours.

However, the heart of the event is the car exhibition. Classic models, muscle cars, and modified vehicles will be lined up in rows to welcome visitors. This is a free, open to the public event. Car show registration will take place on the same day, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., directly at the venue. The registration fee is 20 dollars per vehicle.
During the exhibition, right next to the cars, owners will gather, speak, explain, and share details about their “machines.” In previous editions of the show, awards such as “Best in Show” and “People’s Choice” have been presented. The award ceremony is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
Around the cars, the festival will feature a second area dedicated to local commerce. Independent vendors will gather there, offering handmade products such as clothing, accessories, and seasonal items. In a third section of the parking area, food will be available. Food trucks and temporary stands will offer a variety of options. Fast food and traditional fair desserts will be part of the offerings.
The Chamber of Commerce highlights the strong reception the event received in its previous edition. The goal this year is to continue promoting a community and family-friendly space. For this purpose, the program will also include bounce houses, games, face painting, and children’s activity stations. This edition of the festival will also feature a DJ performance.
Currently, the call for sponsors and vendors remains open. The Chamber of Commerce continues to provide registration, pricing, and requirement details through its official portal.
