The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was spotted in the City of Peekskill in the early morning of Wednesday, June 11, in front of 857-859 Orchard Street.

Todd Londagin, a resident in the area, told the Peekskill Herald his wife witnessed several unmarked vehicles swarm a car in the area for approximately 15 minutes a little after 7 a.m. on June 11. Londagin said his wife saw a man taken into custody by law enforcement.
As of this writing, the Manhattan FBI Field Office and the Peekskill Police Department have not responded to the Herald’s requests for comment.
“Some of the signs on their vest said police, some of them said FBI,” Londagin said. “My wife talked to the other gentleman who was in the car with the guy who got taken, and he was really shaken up and crying. And she felt terrible for him. We didn’t really know how we could change the situation at all.”
Londagin said he wasn’t sure why law enforcement took the man and noted he wasn’t sure if the man lived at the property nearby or not.
Christopher Ayavaca, an Ossining resident in the area at the time, told the Herald he saw several unmarked vehicles on Orchard Street around 7:15 to 7:20 a.m.
“I was dropping off my little sister at school and I noticed a black Ford van crossing and I thought they stopped someone or something like that,” Ayavaca said. “ I didn’t think much of it but as I got to the stop, I noticed there were more vans and they were all tinted out.”
