The three performances will take place at the Peekskill Middle School Theater located at 212 Ringgold St in Peekskill and will feature some of Peeksill’s most talented youth.
A Bad Case of Stripes is a vibrant, heartwarming stage adaptation of David Shannon’s beloved children’s book, which can be found at The Field Library. This lively musical tells the story of Camilla Cream, a young girl who loves lima beans but is too worried about fitting in to admit it. One morning she wakes up to find herself covered in a mysterious case of colorful stripes. As she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, Camilla encounters a cast of quirky characters who help her learn the importance of self-acceptance and to embrace what makes her unique.
The musical is a family-friendly celebration of individuality and self-acceptance. Its catchy songs, energetic performances, and huge heart make this inspiring show a treat for audiences of all ages. The show reminds audiences that true happiness comes from being comfortable in one’s own skin and that staying true to who you are is the key to feeling at home.
Tickets are $10 per person and discounted tickets are available for children and seniors. Tickets can be purchased using this link or by visiting necspace.org. For more information, visit necspace.org, follow them on Facebook and Instagram or email them at [email protected].
