Sonia has been with the Peekskill Herald since its inception and is an active champion of our mission to bring local news to Peekskill.

Sonia’s responsibilities include tech support (walking across our reporters’ keyboards to test functionality), interviewing sources (meowing at the most interesting person in the room), and boosting morale for all who come through our newsroom doors.

Sonia is at her happiest when her fellow reporters are all working together – and pampering her with chin scratches and treats.
