For the second year, Peekskill residents can vote for their favorite holiday window at the Central Firehouse on Main Street. Career firefighter Giovanni Nunez coordinated efforts with Principal Jenna Ferris at Peekskill High School and students in Heather Brown’s advanced art classes. The students worked in teams to decorate the firehouse windows. Contest ends on Wednesday, December 14.

People can vote for only ONE of the images by liking or commenting or sending a direct message to the Instagram account of Peekskillfdlocal2343. Winners will be announced Thursday, Dec. 15 and will receive a $100 gift card from members of the career firefighters local 2343.  As of Monday morning nearly 600 people had voted. For those without Instagram accounts, they can vote by emailing [email protected]
