Bands, food stalls, raffles, children’s attractions, and worship will combine during Rock the Riverfront, a festival organized by The Peak Community Church, on Saturday, September 27. In the third edition of this annual gathering, which will begin at 10 a.m., a full day designed for the entire family is expected. The free-of-charge jornada will last at least seven hours. According to the schedule, there will be concerts, testimonies, and worship sessions.

Music will remain one of the central pillars of the celebration. Groups will perform contemporary Christian songs and gospel. The artistic agenda is designed to alternate live performances and worship segments. Additionally, throughout the day there will be moments of prayer, mini-sermons, and reflection sessions aimed at the community, with the goal of strengthening faith and spirituality.
The Peak Community Church will share transformative testimonies and devotional experiences. The congregation will also provide information about its regular programs and community initiatives. Their presence aims to link spiritual engagement with the social work the church conducts regularly. The program further seeks to create opportunities for direct involvement in the organization.
For children, there will be face painting, balloons, and the arrival of the Bubble Bus at 12 p.m. This presentation combines bubbles and interactive games suitable for kids of all ages. According to organizers, the jornada is planned in a safe and supervised setting to encourage healthy social interaction.
The gathering will also feature a variety of food vendors from the local area. Attendees will find options including fast food, snacks, and beverages while exploring the park and participating in different segments of the festival. Local vendors will have the chance to showcase their products and services, turning Peekskill Riverfront Park into a hub for community exchange and promotion.
Throughout the day, raffles and prize drawings will be held, with contributions from sponsors and partners. Prizes include goods and services from local businesses. Visitors are advised to arrive early to secure parking. At the previous edition, attendance exceeded 400 people, and a larger turnout is anticipated this year.
