Sports cars, electric vehicles, classics, customized cars, and collections will once again gather on Sunday, August 10, at Charles Point, Peekskill (7 John Walsh Boulevard), for an extended edition of Westchester Cars & Coffee. The event, organized by Basil Kazepis, founder and director, will become a “Super Sunday” with extended hours from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The extension will allow car enthusiasts more time to enjoy the exhibits and scheduled activities.
Westchester Cars & Coffee is a public event that features more than 200 vehicles from various categories. All this takes place in a family-friendly environment and requires no prior registration. Although the event is fairly relaxed regarding attendees, it enforces strict rules to prevent aggressive driving and excessive noise. According to Kazepis, the goal is to ensure safety and respect among attendees and exhibitors without compromising fun and entertainment.

In a video produced by an automotive collective, Basil Kazepis explained that the extended edition will feature a DJ, bands, and vendors offering products ranging from artisanal cookies to supplies for car care and repair. Additionally, live demonstrations will be held for repairs using PPF (Paint Protection Film, a protective film for vehicle paint) and electronic engine tuning known as ECU tuning (reprogramming the engine control unit to optimize performance). “We will also have wheel repair services, creative dessert sales, and food stands offering breakfast sandwiches,” he highlighted.
The Westchester Cars & Coffee event calendar includes four sessions this season. The first two took place on April 13 and June 15, with the “Super Sunday” as the third. The final gathering of the season will occur on September 21.
The organization hosts activities year-round, including themed events such as “First Responders Day” and “Father’s Day,” which combine exhibits with activities for the whole family. Events have also featured brands such as Rivian and automotive detailing specialist Larry Kosilla, creator of Ammo NYC.
Additionally, Westchester Cars & Coffee promotes charitable campaigns during the holiday season, including toy and food drives, integrating a community dimension into its annual agenda. The event is primarily coordinated and promoted through social media, establishing it as a meeting point for enthusiasts and the general public in the county.
The growing participation, evidenced by the display of more than 200 vehicles in recent editions, reflects the evolution of the event as it seeks to position itself as a local reference. For more information about the organization, please visit its digital platforms or website.
