This year, spring brings more than just colorful blooms and leafy trees. On Saturday, April 26, a festival filled with music, classic cars, and delicious food will take place in the parking lot of Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights, just six miles from downtown Peekskill. The family-friendly event will run from 11 am to 4 pm.
Organized by the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce, the program will feature dance performances, live music, amusement rides, craft activities for children, a wine and beer garden, and a rich selection of food trucks. While the festival offers something for everyone, the highlight of the day will undoubtedly be the classic car show hosted by the Road Knights Car Club.

Car enthusiasts interested in participating can register on the day of the event. From 8 am to 12 noon, registration will be open on-site, with a $20 entry fee per vehicle. At 2:30 pm, judges will award trophies to the standout cars in the exhibition.
For those more interested in exploring handcrafted goods and local entrepreneurship, the event will also feature a vendor fair showcasing small businesses and artisans. Handmade garments, jewelry, candles, soaps, and sweet treats will be available for purchase. Vendors interested in joining can sign up through the Chamber of Commerce’s website.
Individual vendor booths cost $100 for chamber members and $125 for non-members. Double booths are priced at $200 for members and $250 for the general public. Vendors are encouraged to bring their own supplies for water and electricity. Meanwhile, food trucks must register through The Truck Stops Here platform.
Should inclement weather threaten to dampen the festivities, organizers are prepared with a backup plan moving the entire celebration inside the mall to keep the fun going.
