In “Our Hudson River: 50-Year Photographic Journey,”Joe will guide visitors on a captivating visual voyage from the Hudson River’s humble beginnings in the Adirondack Mountains at Lake Tear of the Clouds and traveling down the Hudson River’s length to the New York Harbor. Along the way, Joe will explore the river’s scenic beauty, evoking the spirit of the Hudson River School, witness the traditions of the last commercial shad fishermen, observe a wildlife biologist banding & monitoring bald eagles, and reflect on the environmental challenges and the champions working to protect this vital waterway.

Admission is free and open to the public. A weekend round-trip train ticket on Metro North from Peekskill to Yonkers is $15.50, $7.50 for seniors, and $1 family fare for each child 5-11 years old. On weekends, Metro-North monthly ticket holders can travel anywhere on the system at no additional cost and bring up to two guests for $1 each, thanks to the “Winter Weekend” discount program, which runs through the end of March — just in time to get to Joe’s Hudson River presentation.
