The family and wide circle of friends who knew Anna Hongach are invited to a memorial service celebrating her life on Monday, Feb. 27 from 1 to 6 p.m. at The Prime Venue, an event space at 20 Welcher Avenue, Peekskill.  A formal ceremony will begin at 5:30, led by Rev. Robert Lindenberg, pastor of The Peak Community Church. 

Hongach, who died Feb. 6, was well known in the community from her time as a cashier at Rite Aid in the Crossroads Shopping Center and most recently at Big Lots which closed in January. 

A 1981 graduate of Peekskill High School, Anna was a member of the Peek Community Church where she was an active volunteer in many outreach events.
