
On Sunday, June 1, the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce will dress up in celebration to host its traditional “Stars Along the Hudson” gala. The community brunch will begin at 12 noon and continue through 3 p.m. Crotonville Conference Center in Ossining has been chosen as this year’s venue.
“Stars Along the Hudson” recognizes individuals, businesses, and local organizations that have contributed to the well-being, economic development, and cultural life of the Hudson Valley. This annual event brings together business owners, social leaders, entrepreneurs, volunteers, and artists, highlighting the diversity that defines northern Westchester County.
The 2025 edition will feature six awards presented by the Chamber of Commerce. Go No Sen Karate will receive the Business of the Year award for its long-standing service and community engagement. Support Connection will be honored with the Quality of Life Award. The organization offers assistance to individuals affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
The KinoSaito Arts Center, dedicated to contemporary art, will be recognized with the Chairperson’s Award, while Kerry Scardino, founder of Skinchanted CBD, will receive the Larry DeNoia Professional Development Grant, a prize sponsored by the Peekskill Rotary Club Foundation. Lynn Amos, of Fyne Lyne Ventures, will be named Volunteer of the Year, and Shannon Sullivan, of the YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester, will be recognized as Young Professional of the Year.
The event will feature live music by the Ray Blue Jazz Quartet, a silent auction and a commemorative journal filled with messages of congratulations for the honorees. Advance registration is required. For more information or to register, visit the Chamber’s website.
