Tomorrow on Tuesday, December 17, Peekskill’s only regularly scheduled classical concert series, Piano at Noon will present Ramilya Saubanova at Medford Studios located in the Paramount East at 1016 Brown Street.
Dr. Ramilya Saubanova is a pianist from Tatarstan, Russia, with more than 21 years of experience in music. Ramilya has performed across Russia, Europe, and the United States, both as a soloist and in collaboration with other musicians and renowned orchestras. She has won prestigious awards and scholarships, Some of her standout performances include recitals at the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic, Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater, and at the Russian and Brazilian Embassies in Washington D.C.
As a passionate teacher, Ramilya inspires her students, many of whom have won competitions. She founded the Union Square Soirée salon concert series in Baltimore and the Tatar Music Concert Series in the U.S. which integrates music with history, poetry, and painting for a rich cultural experience. Tickets for Piano at Noon are $15 each and can be pre-purchased using this link. Concert goers can also get a pass to any five concerts of the buyer’s choice. It is like buying four concert tickets and getting one free. The cost for the 5 concert series is $60 and available until the February 13th concert.
