A bottle of Red. A bottle of White.
It all depends upon your appetite.
Now try reading that again without singing the Billy Joel classic hit Scenes From an Italian Restaurant.
Here’s my rendition…
A bottle of Red. A bottle of White.
It all depends upon your appetite.
Dylan’s Wine will meet you any time you want
Down at the Peekskill Waterfront
Why bring up the classic Billy Joel song? Because on Saturday, October 26th, Dylan’s Wine Cellar in conjunction with Mommò Pizza Napoletana will host a Wine and Pizza Pairing from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m just outside Dylan’s on the Yellow Brick Road. Yes, that Yellow Brick Road!
You will be off to see the wizard of wine, Steven Zwick, who will pair a perfect glass of Red, White or Rose with one of six specialty wood fired pizzas from Mommo’s but only if you click your heels three times, and say “There’s no place like Dylan’s Wine Cellar. There’s no place like Dylan’s Wine Cellar. There’s no place like Dylan’s Wine Cellar.”
Of course, the Wine and Pizza Pairing event will have some great live music as well by Peekskill’s very own Steve Chizmida. Steve will be strumming his guitar and serenading the crowd with live music throughout the night.
Don’t forget, Dylan’s Wine Cellar discounts, buy 6-11 bottles and get 10% off or buy 12 or more bottles and get 20% off.
History of Dylan’s Wine Cellar
On April 30, 2011, Dylan’s Wine Cellar opened their doors in the historic and beautiful Standard House, located at 50 Hudson Avenue in Peekskill’s Waterfront District steps away from the Peekskill train station. Steven Zwick and his wife Maribel named the store after their son, Dylan.
The Wine Cellar has a wide variety and selection of artisanal wines and spirits. They specialize in everyday wines and spirits that have top notch quality and that are not mass produced. Dylan’s Wine Cellar also has a large selection of New York craft wines and spirits from “Local” wineries and distilleries.
