To the editor:
In your article you note that “Mayor Vivian McKenzie was absent from the nearly two hour meeting on January 16”. While it is true that she was not there, she was in Washington DC attending the Conference of Mayors, which helps the City in numerous ways, including finding what new grants are coming out and effective ways to access grant monies.
Just a different way of looking at the word “absent”.
