From beautifying the environment through landscaping and creating stone walls, to arranging gorgeous floral arrangments, two Peekskill businesses are celebrating milestones with celebrations this weekend.
Manzer’s Landscape Design and Development is welcoming visitors to their location at 1060 Lower South Street and The Central on Railroad Avenue on Saturday, November 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. to join in their 20th anniversary celebration.
Chappy Manzer has been involved in Peekskill’s community through membership in Peekskill’s Rotary Club which sponsors the annual Cherry Blossom Festival to donating trees to the city in memory of his mothr. He also was instrumental in providing free meals for essential workers during the Covid pandemic.
Down the street from Manzer’s Landscaping at the Blue Mountain Plaza, Debbie and Mario DiSisto will be celebrating 30 years of ownership of Forever Yours Flowers and Gifts. Debbie began her floral designing career at the former Dean Ferris Florists on Maple Avenue. Her humility, generosity and kindness have been the secrets to her success as a business owner. The skilled designers offer flowers for all occasions from wedding to funeral arrangements.
Their celebration takes place on Saturday, November 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their shop located at 20 Welcher Avenue. Stop by for refreshments, raffles and giveaways.
