Pumpkin carving contest new this year at Rotary Fall Festival

The Peekskill Rotary Fall Festival 2022 celebrates with the community another season of beautifully changing leaf colors, cooler weather, and spectacular sunsets and river views. Held at the Peekskill Riverfront on Saturday, October 1 from noon to 6:00 PM, the Fall Festival replaces the successful run of 50 Annual Peekskill Rotary Horse Show & Country Fairs.

In keeping with the same goal of offering the community a fun-filled day while raising funds for good causes, you will see many Rotarians and student volunteers working the children’s activities, pumpkin decorating, raffle area, as well as making sure the many food trucks and vendor booths are accessible to all. This year, there will be live music all day on the main stage, a pumpkin carving design contest with viewing and judging under the gazebo, and a bike rodeo for children.

All proceeds raised by the Rotary Club of Peekskill go back to our local community and International projects sponsored by Rotary International.

 

Children’s activities include: pumpkin painting, arts & crafts, kids’ maze, obstacle course.

Other highlights include: food trucks along with beer and cider trucks, craft and art vendors, live DJ, musical acts, raffles/auctions. The event is pet friendly.
Details about the pumpkin carving contest include: 3 Categories (Professional, Amateur and Kids) which will each have prizes awarded, pumpkins will be displayed at pavilion, after judging at 5pm.
