Richard Brian Cassolino
Richard Brian Cassolino, a Peekskill resident and loving husband of Virginia Cassolino, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2025.
Born in Southington, C.T. on May 30, 1950, Richard was the son of Elizabeth (McGinn) Cassolino and the late Richard Cassolino.
Known for his musical talents and sense of adventure, Richard (Rick) brought enthusiastic energy to everyone in his life.
Richard is survived by his brother, Brent Cassolino, his three children, David Cassolino, Kathleen Barnett, and Christine Cassolino; and his granddaughter, Eliza Barnett.
Rick’s adventurous spirit brought him years of service in the United States Coast Guard as well as trips to Block Island on the “Outlandish” sailboat.
Rick was an incredible person.
His presence and determination made him a leader for his family and all those he connected with. May he rest in peace with all his stories and songs in our hearts as he sails off calmly to his next “gig.”
Visitation was held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on May 4.
Interment took place at Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery on May 5.

Patricia M. Daly
Patricia Daly, 83, a longtime resident of Cortlandt Manor, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, following a brief illness.
Patsy, as she was affectionately known, was born Patricia McMorrow Beck on July 11, 1941, in Glasgow, Scotland, to Bridget Crossan and Alexander Beck; the youngest of their eleven children. Patsy emigrated to the U.S. on May 8, 1966, working as a domestic in White Plains, N.Y. There she met the late John G. Daly Jr., whom she married on November 10, 1973. They moved to the Peekskill/Cortlandt region in 1978, where they raised their four sons.
Patsy was a longtime volunteer for St. Columbanus Church and School, seen attending or helping out at almost every function. She was also a member of their Rosary Altar Society and a fixture at the parish bingo night. She also dedicated much of her time to the Cub Scouts and served as a den leader and pack leader for Pack 144.
With the Boy Scouts, Patsy specialized in Religious Emblems, for which she was awarded the Bronze Pelican and St. George’s medals for her service. Patsy also continued to give her time long after her sons’ involvement was over. She later volunteered at Cortlandt Healthcare.
Patsy, the wife of a Marine, also cared deeply for those serving in the military and was active in local veterans organizations. Noted for her wit, gregariousness, and Scottish charm, she made many friends and touched many lives.
Patsy is survived by her sons John Joseph, Patrick (Dina), Michael, and Kevin, grandchildren Jack and Erynn; brother Harry Beck of Glasgow; brother-in-law Thomas Daly (Patricia); many nieces and nephews in both the United States and Scotland, and her good friend Fanny Mondelli.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, therapists, and staff at NYP-Hudson Valley Hospital, Burke Rehabilitation, and North Westchester Restorative Therapy for their compassionate care.
Glenn Tompkins
Glenn Edward Tompkins Sr. also known as Nono, was born August 23, 1944, to Clara Coles and Elon Tompkins Jr.
Glenn worked for United Artist, the New York City Board of Education, and in private industry. He was a Mason for over 15 years.
Glenn loved music. He was an excellent bass player. He became the bass player for a band called Soul Fusion, where they played locally. Glenn was well-liked by many people in our community.
Glenn leaves behind his adoring wife of over 43 years Milagros “Mina” Tompkins; his sister Joyce, her son Keith, and his wife Sherri; his niece Christine, her husband Dale, and their daughters; his granddaughter Jasmine and Jasmine’s mom, Valerie.
Glenn also leaves behind his sisters-in-law Susie and Debbie, whom he called his daughters. Susie’s two children, Carlos, who is Little Nono, and Angie, whom he called his China Doll; Angie’s two daughters, Liliana and Leilani; Debbie’s two daughters, Samantha and Kimberly; Debbie’s two granddaughters, Maria and Alura, whom he called Scooter. Glenn has many more nieces and nephews.
Before taking ill, Glenn was an active member of the Peekskill community. Glenn will be missed by his wife, family, and friends.
May he rest in peace. He will no longer be suffering. Rest in peace, my love, my heart, and my soul.
Visitations were held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill, N.Y. on May 6 and 7, 2025.
Chapel Service was held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 10:30 am.
Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. 10567.
