Shannon Rose Bagot, 27, Peekskill
A memorial service for Shannon Rose Bagot, 27, is planned for Wednesday June 26, from 3 – 6 pm at Dorsey – Carlone Funeral Home, 1100 Cortlandt St. Peekskill. With her infectious smile and spirit, Shannon brought joy and happiness with her wherever she went.
She was an artist, student, animal lover, and selfless caregiver, who put other’s needs above her own. She was someone who saw life’s inequities and tried to make things better for the less fortunate. Shannon was someone with magical qualities and the world is a darker place without her.
She is survived by her mother, Suzanne Graziano; father, Brian; brother, Daniel; her aunts, Kristina, Janine (Carl), Maria, Anne; her Uncle Kevin, Uncle Mike; her cousins, Sean, Austin, Keith, Katelyn, Ryan, and William; numerous second cousins and countless friends.

Holly Pataki Bettin, 81, Sacramento, CA
Holly Mary Pataki, 81, died on February 27, 2024 in Sacramento, California from an acute cerebral embolism. Holly was born Dec. 19, 1942, in Portland, Maine to Helen (Schwiezer) and John J. Pataki Jr. where her father worked for the US Maritime Commission during WWII.
She grew up in Peekskill and is the granddaughter of John J. Pataki Sr. of Wiberly Avenue (Frost Lane) of the well-known Pataki Farm, and Paul. A. Schweizer Sr. of the well-known Bonnie Brook restaurant on Main Street, from which the Schweizer Aircraft Corporation of soaring renown in Elmira, New York developed.
A graduate of Peekskill High School’s class of 1960, she attended Emerson College in Boston, Mass. and moved to San Francisco. She worked in drafting and landscape gardening and was smart, unusual and entertaining, and could do a verbal riff like nobody else. She is survived by her husband Herbert of Sacramento, her brother Dr. Kerry J. Pataki of Portland, Oregon and her sisters Elizabeth E. Pataki of Sacramento, California and Margit H. Pataki of Middletown, California.
