Pugsley Park now features new seating and a curved landscape design.

Saturday dawned sunny and bright with just a slight breeze. It was perfect weather for the 25th anniversary celebration of Open Studio’s weekend in Peekskill  It also was the opening day of the  Peekskill’s Farmer’s Market, sponsored by the Business Improvement District.

Officials gathered for a ceremonial ribbon cutting and visitors, both two and four legged, were treated to delicious snacks; pickles on sticks and whipped cream in cups. Art was all over town in galleries, studios and outdoors at the Tent Site. Visitors who went down to Water Street to The Center for Machine Arts by Bantam Tools were treated to seeing art created by machines.
