Bluechips will ROCK the Paramount

Local band to headline at Paramount Hudson Valley
The Bluechips at the Paramount Hudson Valley

The day after Thanksgiving, Friday – November 24th at 8:00 p.m., the Bluechips will Rock the Paramount Hudson Valley! The Bluechips are a Rock n’ Roll power trio from New York’s Hudson Valley. As childhood friends, Jake Albi (drums/vocals), Tom Davis (bass), and Paul Beladino (guitar/vocals) spent their first 10 years collaborating through various musical projects before establishing the band in 2018.

The group’s ethos combines their classic influences with catchy choruses and a modern cognizance, setting them apart from their current rock contemporaries. Since its inception, the band has cultivated a grassroots following through regional touring and three self-released, full length albums as of 2023. Paul Beladino is the manager of Division Street Guitars in Peekskill, NY. Tickets are $20 and can be bought at the Paramount Hudson Valley. Find the BlueChips and videos via their Facebook page and Instagram.

About the Contributor
As a Peekskill native, Dave is thrilled to be working with the Peekskill Herald showcasing featured calendar events. A 1999 graduate of PHS, he remembers reading and enjoying the original weekly print edition of the Peekskill Herald every Thursday. He especially liked the political stories, local features and sports coverage when it was written by Peekskill Runner columnist Jack Burns who always managed to weave history into the running times. An avid hiker, he enjoys exploring the local trails as well as the concrete ones in his job as a conductor for Metro North Railroad. He’s a former teacher and co-founder of the Friends of the Peekskill Dog Park, where he frequently can be found with his Koda. He’s happy to be part of the Herald’s growth as the source of local news for Peekskill and looks forward to highlighting a few of many of the events and happenings in Peekskill and the surrounding communities.
