On December 2, 2023. KISS officially performed their final concert at Madison Square Garden. Since 1976 KISS closed out every single concert set with the same exact song. Rock and Roll All Nite starts:
“You show us everything you’ve got
You keep on dancin’ and the room gets hot
You drive us wild, we’ll drive you crazy
You say you wanna go for a spin
The party’s just begun, we’ll let you in
You drive us wild, we’ll drive you crazy
You keep on shoutin’, you keep on shoutin’
… I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day”
Rock has not died and the River Outpost Brewing Company is ready to ROCK at the very first River Rock Music Festival. This Saturday, July 20th from 2pm until close, the River Outpost Brewing Company located at the Factoria on John Walsh Boulevard will ensure that the City of Peekskill gets to Rock and Roll all night and party all day Saturday.
The River Rock Music Festival is a free event that includes live music, fresh brews and beverages, tasty food, local vendors, a dunk tank and rockin’ music all day long! Four bands will be rocking the Charles Point Marina over the course of the day including The Breaks Inc., Peekskill’s very own The Bluechips, Bates and Mainline. After the music outside comes to a close, the party does not end, it just moves inside where a DJ will keep the party going until closing time!
The doors open at 1:00pm and the music starts rockin’ at 2:00pm. In addition, there will be a special beer release specifically for the River Rock Music Festival.
So Peekskill, are YOU ready to Rock?!
